We acknowledge that we, as Faith Mennonite Church, gather on the traditional land of the Dakota and Ojibwe nations, past and present. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. We commit ourselves to an ongoing process of opening our hearts: to learn the history of this land and its many peoples, to understanding our place in that history, to take responsibility to work for justice and restitution.
